Carranza Monument (March 12, 2008)

March 12th - Wardens gathered today for a prescribed burn of a 140 acre block of woods near the Carranza Monument. Units that assisted with the burn were B3, B16, B23 and B40. Once this burn was complete B23 went into Section 2 to assist personnel with a burn they were working on. Units cleared that burn around 21:00hrs. (More Photos)

August 3rd - Crews from Section 3 were requested into the fire in Wharton State Forest around 15:30hrs. Crew members staffed engines and plows on rotating shifts throughoutthe weekend. (More Photos)

April 28th - Personnel gathered this morning for the annual equipment training day. This day is to review operations of the brush trucks and tractor/plow. The group was broken up into stations that covered drafting, winching, hand tools and tractor/plow operations. This was also a great day for the "new" people to meet some of the seasoned firefighters.
April 21st - Section B3 units were busy Saturday afternoon chasing down two illegal burns. The first incident was on Carranza Rd. and the second on Peggy's Lane, both in Tabernacle Township. Residents are reminded that it is spring fire season. Permits are required for any type of burning. Please contact New Lisbon office for details: (609) 726-9010.

March 28th - Wardens met today for some prescribed burns on Carranza Rd. and county RT 563. B3, B16, B23 and B14 all participated in the day long burning. (More Photos)
Vision Quest (March 22, 2007)

March 22nd - Personnel met behind Vision Quest on RT 72 in Woodland Township for a prescribed burn. Units on location were B3, B16, B23, B14, B6 and B22. (More Photos)
Buttersworth Bogs (March 12, 2007)

March 12th - First big prescribed burn of the season was today near Buttersworth Bogs in Tabernacle. B3, B16, B23, B14 and B50 were on the scene. (More Photos)
